BOD Meetings
ARF Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
Present: Abe Rosenbloom, Lisa Williamson, Pat Long, Karen Baum, Patricia Craven, Randy Larson, and Michelle Ing.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. PDT.
President's Report: Abe discussed funding schedules for projects in need of extensions that are already overdue.
September minutes: Karen presented the minutes. Unanimous approval.
Treasurer's Report: Pat presented the treasurer's report. Please see the treasurer's report for full details. Patricia presented her findings of the Directors' Liability Insurance and reviewed the policy with the BODs. Patricia moved to approve the treasurer's report and Karen 2nd the motion. Unanimous approval.
Development Committee Report: Patricia reports the new logo has been added to the ARF annual newsletter and will be sent out soon. ARI will pay to mail the newsletters. The Development Committee will look to have a banner made so that ARF can increase their presence at local shows all over the United States with certain board members present at these shows. Randy, Pat, and Karen will be speaking at upcoming shows. Marilyn Scoggins is leaving the Development Committee.
MAF & LMRG Update: Pat will be attending the Morris Animal Foundation meeting next week.
New Business: Pat discussed his involvement with a governmental agency to watch health issues of livestock. Pat will also be attending the USAHA meeting as the AOBA/ARI representative next week.
The next meeting is scheduled for November 12, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. PST.
Pat moved to adjourn the meeting. Karen 2nd. The meeting ended at 6:50 p.m. PDT.
