BOD Meetings
ARF Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
Present: Abe Rosenbloom, Lisa Williamson, Karen Baum, Patricia Craven, Randy Larson, and Michelle Ing.
Absent: Pat Long.
The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. PDT.
President's Report: Abe reported that the ARI/AOBA merger vote will take place soon with ballots to be mailed out in November. Lisa Williams' article on "Drug Resistant Worms: Anthelmintic Resistance is a Growing Concern for Alpaca Owners" appeared in the most recent Alpacas Magazine.
September Minutes: Randy moved to approve the September minutes. Lisa seconded. Unanimous approval.
Treasurer's Report: Pat was not present to present the report. The September's treasurer's report will be voted on at the next meeting.
Development Committee Report: Patricia reports that the ARF Annual Appeal letter will soon be sent out by ARI. Belinda Appleton's article on Genetics will appear in the next Alpacas Magazine. The Suri and Huacaya choices for the ARF Stud Raffle will be have been announced on Facebook. (Patricia I could not find the announcement on Facebook-All I have is Diamonte and Royal Challenger.) VAOBA has consigned 2 items: an autographed guitar and a Startrek autographed picture.
The next meeting was scheduled for November 18, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. PST.
Karen moved to adjourn and Randy seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m. PDT.
